An evening with Miles in Transit, the YouTuber who just took a bus across Canada 馃殞 馃嚚馃嚘

As of writing (June 25, 2025), Miles Taylor鈥攂etter known as Miles in Transit鈥攊s taking a bus in Newfoundland, part of his journey eastward across Canada by bus with his partner. This trip involves many tight connections, one bus that runs once-per-week, and a 4-kilometre walk across a provincial border.

But that’s nothing new to Miles, best known for the Miles in Transit Youtube channel. His greatest hits include: a 100-hour Greyhound trip across the US, a 24-hour trip from Washington DC to Boston using only public transit, and an attempt to ride all of Los Angeles’ 45 transit agencies in a weekend.

Miles will be in town shooting some new content for his channel, and he’s generously made himself available to join us on the evening of Thursday, July 3. You’ll be invited to ask him your burning questions, but we’ve got some of our own, such as:

  • What lessons can we learn from your cross-Canada transit trip?
  • As the province of British Columbia embarks on its effort to launch its promised province-wide intercity bus agency, what are the key decisions to ensure that it’s actually good?
  • Do you consider yourself a foamer?

Join us at Movement’s offices for a small and casual Q&A with Miles. Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be provided

Accessibility info: This event takes place in the board room of an office building, with elevator access. An accessible bathroom is available on a different floor, and can be accessed with the help of a Movement staff person.
