Calling all transit riders and Richmondites!
Movement is working on “Richmond’s Transit Future!” It’s a policy proposal that will guide our advocacy to all levels of government: TransLink, the City of Richmond, the BC Ministry of Transportation and Transit, and the Federal Government.
In February this year, we published “Surrey’s Transit Future,” a 50-page vision for a transit system that better serves the growing city. It was the product of months of public engagement, discussions with various levels of government, and research—all done by Movement’s volunteers.
Many of the issues identified by transit riders in Surrey—including poor east-west bus routes, insufficient overnight service, and bad options for regional transit—have been echoed by transit riders in Richmond.

Movement: Metro Vancouver Transit Riders is a non-profit and non-partisan organization advocating for better transit for everyone in the region. We believe that transit can and should be the fastest and most reliable transportation option, and that a good transit system builds thriving communities, strengthens local economies, and uplifts everyone.

今年二月，我們發表了《素里的公共交通未來》——一份長達五十頁的願景藍圖，目標是為這座持續成長的城市，打造一套更切合需求的交通系統。這份藍圖歷經數個月的公眾參與、各級政府對話及研究調查，全部由關注組的志工一手完成。
素里公共交通乘客所反映的許多問題——包括東西向公車路線不足、夜間服務不夠完善，以及跨區交通選擇有限——在列治文也同樣被提出來。
我們想聽聽您在列治文搭乘公共交通的親身經驗，以及您認為未來交通改善最應該優先處理哪些面向！
調查將於 2026 年 10 月 2 日（星期五）截止。受訪者可選擇自己喜愛的禮品卡，選項包括：喜茶、JJ Bean 咖啡、Emeri Matcha、Paragon 茶室等。獲獎者可選擇以郵寄或電郵方式接收禮品卡。

Movement at the Richmond Garlic Fest
The Movement team talked to hundreds of people at the Richmond Garlic Festival on August 15. Transit riders, drivers, parents, and local leaders shared with us their experiences taking transit in the city. The top issues discussed were: the lack of frequent service, long travel times, and the burden from the rising cost of transit.
